ABOUT THE BAND

    The British Invasion is Central PA's premier Classic British Rock band, possibly the ONLY band in the area performing this style of music exclusively. The band formed in 2004 and after 1 year of rehearsals started playing area venues in January of 2005 at Burgi's Roundhouse Bar & Grill to a full house with  Q94's "The Professor" Jim Price from PA Musician in attendance, who wrote "The British Invasion's vocals, harmonies, and musicianship were tight." ( PA Musician March 2006).

    The band is performing songs from British bands of the 60's, 70'S & 80'S utilizing state of the art technology in sound processing and reproduction resulting in a faithful reproduction of how the original artists might have performed there songs, whether indoors or outdoors in concert. The British Invasion presents these songs in more or less a chronological order in either a 2 or 3 set show. The music ranges from The Animals, Beatles, Stones, Kinks, The Who, to Uriah Heep, Badfinger, Rod Stewart, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, The Moody Blues, Led Zeppelin, and The Zombies, among others.

    The band consists of five members, all of whom have played with some of the top bands in the region throughout the 80's and 90's with a cumulative 150 years of music performance experience.
